Colo is a filmmaker based out of New York City currently in development for her first feature film.  She is a graduate from the University of California, Berkeley where she studied “Society and Environment” as a part of their Academic Honors Program.  She also studied Sustainable Fashion Design for one year at Parsons, Paris.  Colo’s studies and fascination with the Anthropocene continue to inform, stylize, and politicize her work.  She released her first completely handmade photo book in 2025, which sold out from multiple bookstores around the city.  Colo currently works in the film industry as a Set Designer and Decorator, with a strong emphasis on sustainable sourcing and ethical rehoming.  She was also recently accepted into the International Cinematographer’s Guild and is an active permitted member of Local 52.
